Good afternoon from our family to yours!
We hope you are staying safe during these rainy, wet days! It’s a bittersweet feeling here, with all the rain. It makes for interesting, and a bit more challenging, chore times, but we also love every bit of moisture we can get!
We have an unexpected product update that we need to share with you. Within the past few days, we have been approached with a situation that we didn’t see coming and has left us to make some big decisions for the future production of products.
As many of you know, milk sales have been at an all time high, keeping us challenged to fill all the orders we receive, as well as producing butter and cream. The main goal of our dairy, is to supply each of you with the blessing of raw, unadulterated milk, one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. We have been honored to do that for you, over the past few years!
Within the last week, we have been blessed with another group of customers, with more ordering every day, leaving us no option but to make a choice. After prayer and consideration, we have made the decision to completely stop butter and cream production, for the time being. This will allow us to offer even more individuals the experience of real, raw milk!
We can’t say how long this pause will continue, as we’ll have to take it month by month and see how soon we’ll be able to increase our production. When we get to where we are better able to meet the milk needs of our customers, then we can start thinking about adding in additional products at that time.
Also, at Coyote Song Farm, we will be putting pig raising on hold indefinitely as well. Skimmed milk and buttermilk is the staple diet for raising our healthy pork, and we would never feel right about adding more grains, such as corn and soy, to their diet instead.
We will continue to raise beef, Lord willing, far into the future! If you want us to let you know when we open deposits for beef, in approx 4-6 months, in please respond back to this email with your name and email, and we’ll get you on that list.
We apologize for any inconvenience in advance. Thank you for being the best part of our farm and have a blessed week!
Sincerely, the Golden Rule Family
